Dana Bio

Dana Fisher serves as Project Manager in the Technology Commercialization Center of the South-West Texas Border Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Lead Network at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). In this role, she provides high quality business advisory services across Texas to small business clients seeking to bring new products and processes to market and grow their businesses. She helps clients navigate the pathway to commercialization through market and industry research, business analysis, strategic planning and resource connections including financing. Dana has spent her career working with small businesses in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to coming to UTSA, Dana served as Founding Director of the Center for Technology Commercialization SBDC and Associate Director of the New Product Development Center at Oklahoma State University. Dana holds a Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Technology Commercialization Consultant.
