The Southwest I-Corps Hub, part of the National Innovation Network, collaborates with NSF-funded researchers to promote innovation education. Together, they identify and support promising ideas, develop tools to enhance innovation capacity, analyze data from I-Corps teams, and share best practices nationally. Universities in the hub standardize curricula to foster entrepreneurial thinking, train researchers to commercialize deep tech IP, engage underrepresented groups, facilitate academia-industry interaction, and boost venture capital funding. With 749 teams trained, $83 million raised, and 324 startups founded, the NSF I-Corps program empowers researchers to commercialize their innovations and increase their societal impact.
